Alas, such is summer..
After all the running around, working out of province, working without stopping to meditate the colour dust coming off old bottles of imported beer, the touring through mountains and rivers on horseback and sleeping in stranger beds, looking out at snowy peaks christened by a softly focused rainbow, looking out at lights of sleepless cities, looking in at a sleeping intellect stirred by museum shows of the wise, worldly dragons..
I am glad to head back to university. =_= I need a holiday from summer holidays, which always seem to turn out more complicated than the part where I study for 8 months and then write exams. That part is usually quiet... but the reckless romping around and colliding of people I knew with people I wish I didn't know.. is something I can only take for a few months at a time.
So... Cheers for the arrival of September, just in time, as always. Time for books, books, glorious books, and painting and photographs and poetry. I can hardly contain myself
